Formed in March 2002, the Southwest Metro Business2Business Network group consists of members throughout the Twin Cities with significant sales territory. The group serves several purposes. Through our website and personal contacts, we provide Twin Cities’ business people with a resource for locating suppliers, vendors and professionals.
Our weekly networking meetings last for one hour every Tuesday at 7:30am. The meeting provides members with a forum for exchanging referrals, sharing other networking opportunities and presenting information about their respective industries. Through knowledge of other industries, we better understand the business community as a whole, identify networking opportunities and improve our personal marketing and sales skills.
Feel free to contact any of our members directly for information about their products and/or services offered. View our current members in the Members Directory. If you are interested in joining our networking group, click on here.
The Group hosts various discussion sessions related to your business and personal growth. Various casual after-hours networking events are hosted by the group so members have the opportunity to network with other businesses. Our First Annual Golfing Event was held July, 2015 providing members a chance to get to know each other better and enjoy a beautiful day on the golf course. Check back on our website for future events, or email us if you would like to be included for our next event.
St Paul Saints Game
One of our objectives is to develop new friends and have fun. In late August we attended a St Paul Saints game to wrap up the summer, have a lot of fun, the Saints won and fulfill our objective. Please check our website for future events, or email us to be invited to our next event.
Eight members of the group volunteered at the Bloomington location of VEAP, doing a variety of warehouse tasks they needed help with. We got a lot of “repacking” done and had fun in the process.
VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People) founders believed that helping a neighbor in need ultimately strengthens the community. VEAP has been operating under this principle for over 35 years, providing a range of services to help low-income people meet immediate needs and reach their long-term goal of stability. Today, VEAP serves the residents of Bloomington, Richfield, Edina and South Minneapolis utilizing a unique mix of professional and volunteer services.
